This video-melomaniac selection goes through the most contrasting visual styles and probes the contemporary musical multiverse like an exploratory entity in search of incompatible elements in order to see them confront each other in the arena of our appreciation. From the lo-fi video for the solo project Guitar to the cinemascopic shots of Hyper Duo’s classy Swiss clip and the psychedelic animation of Charlie Mars, the gaps are at least as wide as those separating BadBadNotGood’s rock-tinged jazz compositions from Jarna Irmert’s minimalist ambient. Don’t look for any guideline here, except that of having wanted to break the latter.

- in the hall of EJMA before each film session (also free)
